Requirements and Responsibilities For Bond Sales Manager |
Manages and leads a group of bond sales officers. Develops marketing and sales initiatives to increase profitability. Oversees the buying and selling of government or corporate bonds and securities. Advises clients on investment options; monitors market conditions to maximize profits for customers and the institution. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a director. Typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. |
