| Requirements and Responsibilities For Clinical Research Project Management Manager |
| Manages a team of clinical research project managers. Monitors project plans to ensure projects are timely, accurate, and produce precise results. Develops and implements clinical research guidelines, processes, and procedures. Establishes data collection and reporting processes to capture key metrics of project activities against performance indicators and key deliverables. Provides solutions to potential risks/issues and facilitates actions to keep projects on track. Ensures the project is planned and conducted in accordance with all applicable regulations, standard operating procedures, and good clinical practices (GCP). Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes. |
