| Requirements and Responsibilities For Electronics Assembly Supervisor |
| Oversees the day-to-day assembly operations of electronic components and electromechanical products. Creates daily work schedules, follows standard manufacturing procedures, and monitors work to meet quality standards, product specifications, and production targets. Resolves production problems and answers worker's questions about processes, methods, or equipment. Is familiar with electronic schematics and components used in assembly. May conduct basic functional testing to monitor and verify quality. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. Supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. |
