| Requirements and Responsibilities For Insurance Product Development Director |
| Directs the team responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing insurance products. Monitors industry trends, competitor filings, and consumer needs to identify opportunities for innovation. Analyzes market trends and customer feedback to determine the strategic direction for product offerings. Oversees the collaboration with teams across the organization to launch products, create supporting documentation, and ensure successful delivery. Stays current on applicable laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. Manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. |
