| Requirements and Responsibilities For Insurance Regulatory Filing Analyst |
| Responsible for ensuring an insurance company's products and rates comply with state and federal laws. Evaluates materials and legal documentation to verify they meet legal standards. Prepares and submits necessary documentation and forms to state regulatory agencies and manages objections to gain approval for products. Acts as the liaison between the insurance company and state agencies regarding inquiries and audits. Tracks changes in insurance laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience. |
