Requirements and Responsibilities For Mortgage Collector I
Contacts clients to remedy delinquency or non-payments. Determines appropriate collection alternatives to settle shortfalls. Adheres to pre-established guidelines when determining appropriate collection remedy. Typically handles accounts in early stages of delinquency. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
