Requirements and Responsibilities For Proof Operator
Performs a variety of clerical functions relating to check processing, deposits, withdrawals, and payments. Operates a proof machine which encodes and endorses checks and deposits. Finds errors and makes appropriate reconciliations, adjustments, and corrections. May be responsible for batching and distribution. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
