| Requirements and Responsibilities For Wordprocessing Supervisor |
| Supervises the daily operations of the word processing division. Plans, assigns, and reviews word processing work to ensure timely completion. Responsible for the purchase, usage, maintenance and storage of the sophisticated word processing equipment. May require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. Typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. |
