| Requirements and Responsibilities For Biopharma Process Development Scientist II |
| Designs and develops processes for the manufacturing of experimental and active drugs. Performs physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of pharmaceutical ingredients to ensure efficiency and safety. Reviews, troubleshoots, and resolves issues to ensure adherence to formulary specifications. Analyzes, interprets, and communicates results. May make recommendations for process improvement. Stays current on emerging technologies and trends within the biopharma industry. Requires a bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field. Typically reports to a manager. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience. |
