Requirements and Responsibilities For Trader (Block) I
Responsible for the timely buying and selling of block orders. Reviews orders to ensure accuracy, proper record keeping, and conformance to regulations. Evaluates market volatility and ensures clients receive the best rate available. Executes stock orders that consist of at least 10,000 shares or that have a value of $200,000 or more. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and may require state licensure. Typically reports to a manager. Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed.
