| Requirements and Responsibilities For Benefits Systems Clerk - Healthcare |
| Assists in the implementation and maintenance of benefits systems for managed care and provider data. Assigns the rate coding to ensure the system takes the appropriate discounts, per diems, case costs, and fee schedules. Supports the implementation and verification of loading the fee schedules. May run analysis to verify the accuracy of the system. Assists with training of fee loading processes and ensures coding and schedules are accurate. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. Works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience. |
